
Eric Hanson is the Vice President of Digital Products at the PGA TOUR, where he drives innovation across the TOUR’s digital ecosystem. He leads the teams behind product development, operations, and support—powering the platforms that connect millions of fans to the TOUR. Under Eric’s leadership, the TOUR has launched a redesigned PGATOUR.COM, a next-generation PGA TOUR app, a digital platform for TOUR players named PGA TOUR Central, and pioneered the use of generative AI to deliver richer fan experiences. He also spearheaded the creation of an in-house software development team, ensuring the TOUR stays at the forefront of technology and fan engagement.
Before joining the TOUR, Eric spent seven years at Lowe’s, where he led mobile app development and digital commerce initiatives that helped modernize the company’s platforms and drive significant e- commerce growth. Earlier in his career, he worked in digital advertising and brand marketing, partnering with global brands like Walmart, Microsoft, ESPN, Pizza Hut, PING Golf, Michael Kors, and Hyundai to elevate their digital presence and connect with consumers in new and impactful ways. Eric holds a degree from the University of Texas and advises local schools on the application of business and technology in the classroom.
