Chelsea Fearnley has built her career telling stories that matter — from editing industry publications to shaping brand strategy for some of the most innovative companies in film and media.
As Head of Marketing & Brand at Motion Impossible, she’s at the forefront of one of the most exciting companies in camera technology. Motion Impossible is a Bristol-based camera robotics company whose AGITO system has won an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Engineering, Science & Technology. Born from co-founder and CEO Rob Drewett’s work as a wildlife cameraman, the company has grown from a bold idea in a West Country shed into a business redefining camera movement worldwide.
AGITO — often dubbed the “Swiss Army Knife” of camera motion — combines the capabilities of multiple traditional rigs into one compact, modular package, and has been used on everything from Taylor Swift concerts to NASA rocket launches. Chelsea’s role is to bring that story to the world — building deeper connections with the filmmaking and broadcast communities while pushing into exciting new markets.
Before joining Motion Impossible, Chelsea was Editor of Definition Magazine, where she interviewed producers, cinematographers, and directors, and told the stories behind some of the most technically ambitious productions on screen. She’s also held roles at Spotify, where she honed her craft as a marketing copywriter, and at Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, working as a Senior Account Manager in the B2B tech space.
Across every role, one thing has stayed constant — a genuine love for the craft of communication, and a knack for making complex, technical subjects feel human, relevant, and worth paying attention to.
When she’s not building brands, you’ll likely find her with a strong opinion about a documentary.
