Doug Irwin is a career broadcast engineer with extensive major market experience: 18 years in San Francisco, 6 years in New York and now more than 12 in Los Angeles.

During that period Doug managed capital projects for Evergreen Media, AMFM, Clear Channel, and now iHeartMedia. His latest project was the design and construction of the iHM “re-pack” transmitter site for Los Angeles.

The iHeartMedia cluster in LA includes 15 stations, 2 of which are among the top-10 billers in the country. In addition to its own stations it provides programming for about 225 others on typical weekdays. Among the programs originating at the facility are “On-air with Ryan Seacrest” and “The Woody show.” In addition, the network feeds for the LA Dodgers, the LA Chargers, and the LA Clippers come from there.
