This presentation covers the successful deployment of Private 5G and Edge AI during Season 2 of the FOX show Extracted. Verizon enabled approximately 2,000 acres of dedicated private 5G connectivity in the dense forests of Northeastern Ontario, Canada.

This connectivity enabled the production to wirelessly stream 24x cameras and utilize 22x 5G GreenGo comms, offering the production significant capability for faster movement and greater freedom.

We also piloted Edge AI workflows during this deployment. This involved exploring how containerized AI tools could automate manual processes and allow the production team to rapidly develop on-site tools to address various production challenges.
