Sebastian Franke completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Media Technology in 2020 and his Master of Science in Digital Media and Management in 2024 at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen. During his studies, he contributed to several research projects as a student assistant.

Since 2025, he has been a research associate at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in the IP-Broadcast project. His focus is on integrating SMPTE ST 2110-compliant media streams and developing a generic metadata model for AI-based real-time applications.
