Kodai Kikuchi received B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Chiba University, Chiba, Japan, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. In 2013, he joined NHK. He worked as a broadcasting engineer from 2011 to 2013. Since 2013, he has been with NHK Science & Technology Research Laboratories, where he has been engaged in research and development of ultra-high definition camera and recorder systems. He is a member of the Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers of Japan (ITE).
