Maria-Isabelle was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to New York when she was 12 years old. Sports became her bridge to American culture—a source of both joy and connection. She studied journalism and marketing and now creates bilingual sports content with the goal of becoming a sports broadcaster. While soccer is the sport she grew up with, she now covers all New York sports and major sporting events across the city. She produces content in both Spanish and English because she wants to serve as a bridge between the Latin community and American sports.
