Sherry Swensk is morning and weather anchor for 8NewsNow – KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, a role she has held since arriving in Las Vegas more than 30 years ago. Originally from Dallas, Sherry graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in radio and television. She began her career editing for PM Magazine in Dallas before producing and editing entertainment and travel shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
