Shandana is a seasoned data-driven Product leader with over 11 years of experience working in public data, ecommerce and media. Shandana began her career as a Data Analyst in Health and Human Service Non-Profits where she optimized the capture, normalization and analysis of important data related to recidivism, child reunification and housing. She was able to advocate for system based enhancements for data quality and visualization leading her to exciting challenges implementing software worldwide for large scale programs such as Boys and Girls Club, HUD and local municipal services. In 2015, she pivoted to eCommerce where she oversaw integrations for various merchants, onboarding 55M consumers onto the PayPal credit platform. From there she went on to consult for various data-centric product roles at Zillow, Nike and others. In recent years she has settled into the Media industry in Los Angeles, working for the LA Times and currently at Paramount Global. Shandana has a Bachelors in Management from Virginia Tech, and dozens certifications including a Product Management Leadership certificate from UC Berkeley.
