Philip Coulam-Jones

Project Coordinator at Disguise Systems Limited

Philip Coulam-Jones is responsible for overseeing Funded Research Projects at Disguise, having taken over the position in June 2024. He coordinates projects covering a wide variety of production technology concerns, including volumetric capture and reconstruction, data management and streaming, and energy efficiency improvements to the company’s hardware range. Part of his portfolio also includes organising Disguise collaborations with partners across Europe, working with partners at the BBC, Trinity College Dublin, ARRI and the University of Pompeu Fabra, among others. 

Before joining Disguise, he worked for NBCUniversal assisting production responses to and implementation of Covid-19 guidelines and workflows across the EMEA and Australia regions. He also holds an MSci in Physics and an MA in Film Studies, both from University College London, with dissertations focusing on machine learning for particle physics data analysis and the role of media in the post-2016 political order.
