Paul Amadeus Lane

Broadcast Journalist and Podcast Host at Amadeus 4th Media

Paul Amadeus Lane envisions a world where technology empowers everyone, regardless of ability. As a C6 quadriplegic, broadcast journalist, podcast host, content creator, and dedicated disability advocate, he’s uniquely positioned to bring this vision to life. For years, he’s been a driving force in accessibility, consulting with industry giants like Sony PlayStation, Android, and Google. Beyond his role as a sought-after video game and product accessibility consultant, where he’s helped consult on groundbreaking products like the Access™ Controller for PlayStation, Paul leverages his extensive media experience to amplify crucial narratives. While he focuses on the intersection of tech, entertainment, and disability issues, he also delivers insightful reporting and engaging content on a wide range of topics, including interviews with notable personalities. He brings a unique perspective to major events like CES and Comic-Con, providing in-depth coverage of accessibility advancements and the representation of disability in popular culture. Through his podcast, broadcast journalism, and online content, he tells the stories of the disability community, advocates for systemic change, and educates audiences on the importance of inclusive design. A few years ago, he founded Amadeus Fourth Media, a media company dedicated to bringing attention and awareness to professionals with disabilities in broadcast media, and creating a space where they can work, create, and innovate. His work extends beyond product development, encompassing broader accessibility initiatives that promote inclusiveness. His passion is infectious, his impact undeniable. He’s not just changing the game; he’s changing the world.
