Mimi Davila is a Cuban-Bulgarian actress, comedian and writer raised in Miami, whose unique cultural perspective fuels her creative work. She attended the improvisation and sketch comedy theatre, The Groundlings, and has captivated audiences with her original performances at renowned festivals such as SF Sketch Fest and the New York Comedy Festival Mimi is also a well-known content creator, having worked with BuzzFeed’s Pero Like, mitú and presented as a featured content creator at Vidcon. An accomplished voice over talent, Davila is a regular on the Netflix animated series Voltron and was an animated voice in the film Spiderman Into the Spiderverse. She starred in the award-winning short, Piel Canela (Cinnamon Skin) and is a series regular in the Emmy-nominated series RZR. Most recently, Davila can be seen in Julio Torres’ feature film The Problemista and the upcoming film The Scout. Her comedic web series The Chonga Diaries, co-created alongside her best friend and writing partner, Laura di Lorenzo, was recently in development with CBS.
