Passionate about the intersection of film and technology, Michael’s innovations earned him an invitation to join the American Society of Cinematographers as an associate member. This exclusive group, with fewer than 400 members, honors professionals who have significantly advanced the art and science of cinematography.
Michael also serves on the Board of Governors at the Advanced Imaging Society, which includes major industry leaders like Google, Pixar, Disney, Warner Bros., Marvel, and others. His work has earned numerous awards, including the Red Dot Award, the Lumiere Award, the AI Award from AI Global, the Tech Innovations Award from Definition magazine, and the Mario Award for technological advancements. He was also named one of Studio Daily’s Top 50 Creatives and Technologists in the Motion Picture Industry.
Michael contributed to NASA/JPL’s 2018 Emmy win for Outstanding Original Interactive Program for Cassini’s Grand Finale, NASA’s first recognition in the film community. Through his work, he continues pushing the boundaries of digital innovation to create meaningful, engaging connections that inspire humanity.
