Matthew Herman is a seasoned technology leader with nearly two decades of experience in the Media & Entertainment industry, specializing in cloud transformation, scalable infrastructure, and global expansion. As the co-founder and CTO of EngineLab, he is at the forefront of building future-proof, cloud-native solutions tailored for creative industries.
Before launching EngineLab, Matthew served as chief technology officer at Psyop, an award-winning creative studio, where he led the company’s transformation from an on-premises operation with data centers in New York and Los Angeles to a fully cloud-based studio. At Technicolor, he helped drive the company’s global cloud strategy and digital transformation initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held technical roles at The Mill and Deluxe, focusing on VFX, post-production, and high-performance computing.
