Lucy Rutishauser is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sinclair, a diversified media company located in Hunt Valley, MD. She is a finance expert with over 35 years of experience with companies at differing stages in their life cycle, including growth through mergers & acquisitions, downsizing, and diversification. She has worked in multiple industries including media, publishing, senior-living, retail, and manufacturing, spanning publicly-traded, privately-held, and a U.S. division of an international company. She is involved in transformation across multiple disciplines and sits on multiple steering committees including employee experience, communications, ESG, and technology, and serves as the company’s deFacto Chief Risk Officer. Ms. Rutishauser has helped lead companies through complex financial and capital markets transactions, various economic cycles, the pandemic, and a cybersecurity ransomware incident. She frequently participates on industry panels, and was recognized as a ‘Woman to Watch for Boards’, the Daily Record’s ‘Power 30’ and ‘its ‘Maryland’s Top 100 Women,’ the Baltimore Sun’s ‘Top 25 Women to Watch,’ Cablefax’s ‘Most Powerful Women,’ Cynopsis’ ‘Top Women in Media,’ and the Radio & TV Business Report’s ‘Best Finance Leaders.’ Ms. Rutishauser graduated magna cum laude from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance, and received her M.B.A. with honors from the University of Baltimore. She is a member of the National Association for Corporate Directors, Media Financial Management, National Institute of Investor Relations, and the Association of Finance Professionals. She is a board member for Cast.era (a joint venture with SKT); a board and finance committee member for Learning Undefeated and First Fruits Farm; and serves on the President’s Advisory Council at Stevenson University.
