Katey Rich, The Ankler's awards editor and host of its Prestige Junkie podcast, has been covering film and television for nearly 20 years. She was previously the awards and audio editor at Vanity Fair, where she worked for more than a decade. She was the founder and co-host of the magazine's Little Gold Men podcast, the cohost of two Vanity Fair Oscar Party livestreams, and editor of the Awards Insider special issues. Previous outlets include The Guardian, Film Journal International and Cinema Blend. She is a graduate of the Wesleyan University film studies department, and her favorite Oscar moment is Jane Fonda's momentous pause before announcing Parasite had won best picture.
