Juan Reyes is the President of Tech Align Group, a globally recognized leader in technology and content security solutions for the Media & Entertainment industry. With over 23 years of experience, Juan has been deeply involved in the industry, developing a profound expertise in content security and media and entertainment technology at many levels.

Throughout his career, Juan has actively participated in numerous industry organizations, including the 8K Association, TPN (Trusted Partner Network), Ultra HD Alliance, SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers), HPA (Hollywood Professional Association), CDSA (Content Delivery and Security Association), HDR10+, CTA (Consumer Technology Association), Digital Production Partnership (DPP), DEG (Digital Entertainment Group) and others. His contributions to many of these organizations have been instrumental in the development and implementation of technical standards, test specifications, the creation and management of compliance programs and supporting content security best practices and guidelines.

Currently, Juan serves as the Executive Director and Certification Program Manager for the 8K Association, where he works with all of its members to support the organization’s mission in advancing the expansion of the 8K ecosystem and educating the industry and consumers. He also chairs the Interoperability Working Group for the UHD Alliance, where he helps to ensure seamless integration of Ultra HD devices and technologies. Additionally, Juan is a TPN advanced assessor, where he supports service providers in validating their implementation of industry-standard security best practices, protecting their content, and strengthening their security credibility within the media and entertainment ecosystem.
