Jim is responsible for Strategic Account sales at NetApp, joining the team in May of 2025. With over 25 years of leadership experience in B2B enterprise technology, Jim is deeply committed to understanding and addressing the unique business and technical challenges faced by the customers he serves. He has a proven track record of helping organization leverage technology to drive growth, efficiency and competitive advantage.
Throughout his career, Jim has built and led high-performing teams across infrastructure, cloud, and security – always with a focus on aligning technology solutions to customer objectives. Prior to NetApp, Jim served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Sysdig, a leader in cloud and container security. He has also held executive sales leadership roles at Sumo Logic (acquired by Francisco Partners), Pure Storage, Metalogix (acquired by Quest), HyTrust (acquired by Entrust), and has managed large, geographically dispersed teams at VMware and EMC.
Jim’s approach is rooted in partnership and collaboration. He is passionate about working closely with customers to understand their strategic goals and delivering solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. As a speaker and mentor, he inspires audiences by sharing insights and best practices for achieving greater impact in their roles.
Jim holds a double BS degree in Finance and Philosophy from Boston College.
