Frank Rafka

Senior Technical Manager at CP Communications

With over two decades of experience in RF and broadcast engineering, Frank Rafka has led technical operations for some of the world’s largest live events. At CP Communications, he oversees the design and management of large-scale venue productions for clients including NBC/Golf Channel, and Major League Baseball. 

Frank has played key technical roles in events such as the New York City Marathon, PGA events, the MLB All-Star Game, and the NFL Postseason, where he has been instrumental in deploying CBRS and private wireless networks (PWN) for seamless communications, video return, and talent monitoring. 

In partnership with T-Mobile and Haivision, Frank has implemented 5G-enabled workflows across numerous productions, from the Super Bowl to MLB and PGA broadcasts. His technical expertise continues to push the boundaries of reliable, low-latency live production over both public and private 5G networks.
