Evan Yee is the Director of Programming for The Breakroom, part of the New Rockstars network. Leading content and production decisions for the channel, The Breakroom’s live streams, video and podcast feeds bring audiences 'the nerdy news they need to know,' as well as after shows, interviews, games, and more. Evan is also an award-winning director and producer. Working within the aerospace industry, his short films Take Up Space and A Conversation with Kepler have earned international festival selections and accolades, with the latter being selected as one of twelve finalists in NASA’s Cinespace film festival in 2022. Evan’s narrative short film Have You Seen My Friend? was nominated in the 'Best Drama' category at the Picture’s Up Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2021. Outside of video and film production, Evan can usually be found at whatever Yelp deems the 'Best Bagel Spot' in any given city.
