Emily Gomes

Associate General Counsel at National Association of Broadcasters

Emily Gomes is Associate General Counsel at the National Association of Broadcasters, where she advocates for thousands of local television and radio stations, as well as broadcast networks, on a wide range of issues. She has worked extensively on the broadcast television transition to ATSC 3.0, including co-leading the Future of Television Initiative—a public-private collaboration that brought together stakeholders from across the TV ecosystem and the Federal Communications Commission to address challenges and opportunities in the transition. Before joining NAB in 2020, Emily was a senior associate at Hogan Lovells LLP, where she focused on commercial litigation. She earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from William & Mary Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
