Devon Mathis V.E.S. is a Cinematographer and Lighting Supervisor specializing in virtual production and traditional filmmaking. With a deep understanding of Unreal Engine, LED volumes, and real-world cinematography, Devon bridges the gap between digital and practical lighting, crafting immersive visuals for films and television. As a Lighting Supervisor at Sony Pictures' Torchlight, Devon plays a key role in developing dynamic lighting solutions for major productions, ensuring that virtual environments seamlessly integrate with live-action footage. His expertise extends beyond technical execution, as he shapes mood, texture, and storytelling through light, blending cutting-edge technology with cinematographic techniques.

Beyond the virtual realm, Devon is also a Director of Photography, bringing a cinematic eye to both traditional and virtual sets. His work is defined by a commitment to naturalistic lighting, rich compositions, and a deep respect for storytelling. Having contributed to a range of projects, from high-profile studio productions to independent short films, Devon thrives in the creative challenges of crafting visually compelling narratives. With a career spanning seven years in Virtual Production, Devon has become a stalwart in the industry, known for his innovative approach and technical prowess on major series and films such as Jonathan Nolan's "Westworld", "Fallout", and Sony Pictures' "Venom: The Last Dance".
