Chris Nash

Lead Software Engineer at Disguise Systems Limited

Chris Nash is a Senior Software Engineer at Disguise, leading the Camera and Calibration team. Since joining in March 2020 he has been involved in many different projects across XR, virtual production and live events. His team was recently involved in developing enhanced 2.5D workflows in Disguise and integrating with Cuebric to allow interchange of 2.5D assets. This work was recognised at the AV awards for 'Best Use of AI', and with a gold HPA award for engineering excellence. The team is now developing new production workflows using volumetric capture and depth-based techniques, integrating cutting-edge AI models.

Chris holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where he developed models of human motion perception and control during car driving. He then went on to work at McLaren Applied, working on control algorithms for high-fidelity driving simulators, before moving to Disguise.
