Bo discovered his love for creative problem-solving at age 12, devouring an HTML textbook and marveling when a simple notepad file transformed into a live webpage. Since graduating from the University of Georgia, he’s accumulated over 20,000 hours in control rooms—lending his expertise to every Olympics since 2014, working on more than 100 primetime NFL broadcasts including five Super Bowls, and earning three National Sports Emmys. As an early adopter of cloud-based and virtual production workflows, Bo most recently designed AI-driven voice controls for on-air talent during a major network’s primetime election coverage last November.
Off the clock, he’s sailed over 5,000 nautical miles, ticking off bucket-list adventures and collecting stories at nearly every tiki bar in the Caribbean. Now based in Charleston, SC, when he’s not in the lab, control room, or TV truck, he’s trying to keep up with his five kids adopted from foster care. Bo’s career is built on technical innovation, creative problem-solving, and a passion for forging genuine connections—in the control room, at sea, and in the cloud.
