NAB Show will feature a panel session, "Fast Tracking Radio's Future," focused on industry efforts to engage with the auto industry, connect with marketers, and launch innovative initiatives. The session will take place as part of the Business of Broadcast Conference on Wednesday, April 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
NAB Show will feature a panel discussion on the role local broadcasters played during the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas in the fall of 2017. The session, titled “Crisis on the Strip: Reporting in an Unfolding Emergency,” will be held Tuesday, April 10 in North Hall N256 at 1:30 p.m.
The “Next Gen TV Autonomous Transport” will display local broadcasts powered by the newly released ATSC 3.0 broadcast transmission standard while shuttling attendees between the Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center Monday - Thursday during the 2018 NAB Show.
The online sports industry will be explored in a new conference titled “eSports: Get in on the Action” at the 2018 NAB Show. Produced in partnership with the eSports Ad Bureau, the Conference comprises six sessions focused on audience targeting and growth, sponsorship opportunities and real-world success stories.
NAB Show will present “’Star Wars: The Last Jedi’: Join the Rebellion,” a Main Stage session featuring key members of the team from Lucasfilm’s VFX and animation studio, Industrial Light & Magic. The session will take place in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center on Wednesday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m.
NAB Show will present a new half-day program within the Next-Generation Media Technologies Conference titled “Get Ready for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.” The program, which takes place Tuesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
NAB Show and Georgia Production Partnership will present “Made in Georgia: Shaking up the Film and Digital Media Production Landscape,” a Main Stage panel discussion exploring the evolution of Georgia's booming production hub.
Award-winning country music band Old Dominion will perform at the new We Are Broadcasters Celebration on Tuesday, April 10 on the NAB Show Main Stage in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The special live performance is sponsored by Beasley Media Group.
