The following is a list of barter options executed during the promotional campaign for NAB Show®. For additional information about each item and to negotiate a barter arrangement, contact Laura Riggs at +1 (410) 551-9216 or via email.

Online Newsstand

NAB Show features a resource that presents media and entertainment news sources all in one place – the Online Newsstand! Media Partners may display one cover issue; all you need to do is provide a URL to your digital edition.

  • Click here to view the Online Newsstand.
  • The Online Newsstand will be promoted via house ads and other areas of the NAB Show website to ensure maximum visibility.
  • Each digital edition must be formatted to flip from page to page. Websites do not qualify for posting in this area.
  • Only offered in exchange for advertising inside digital edition.
  • Media Partners may switch out issues by sending updated links as editions are published.

Featured Listing in the Online Media Partner Directory

Don't under-estimate the value of an NAB Show Media Partner Listing! Featured Listings include a Web link, 25-word description and logo. Media Partners may elect to feature individual Media Brand(s) or their Publishing Company.

Barter value: $1,500

Note: Each participating media brand receives a text listing and URL in the Online Directory at no charge. Be sure that all of your publications are properly included in the listing. Publishing company names will be added to the standard listing by special request if your organization has two or more media brands participating as official Media Partners. Media Partners are responsible for confirming posted URLs, the accuracy of their listing and submitting updated logo and descriptions.

 

Web Banner Advertising on www.nabshow.com

The NAB Show website is the #1 source of information about the Show and therefore the ideal space to promote your publication, highlight subscription offers and promote special features.

  • All ads must be sized to 728 x 90.
  • All ads are placed in rotation ROS on article-level Web pages.
  • Ads do not appear on the home page of the website or on webpages outside of the www.nabshow.com domain.
  • Ads are posted 5 days from receipt and remain live for at least three months past Show dates. Barter values are fixed – make sure to submit your ad for posting ad early!

Web Banner Ad in Promotional Emails

NAB Show emails garner impressive open and forward rates because subscribers are eager to learn what's happening at NAB Show. This communication is only distributed in the months leading up to the event as information is released – we don't fatigue readers or the list. NAB Show emails are distributed to 200,000+ industry professionals via a 100% opt-in list. Media Partners are featured through a 290 x 100 graphic banner. 

Barter Value: $6,500

Third Party Emails

Send your message or special offer via a dedicated HTML email to Show Attendees who have agreed to receive 3rd party messaging from Show Partners. Note, this is a portion of the full list that NAB Show uses for its email distribution and is 100% opt-in.

  • Distribution to whole list of 65,450 or to selected demographics that match your target audience. View demographic profile.
  • Partners must provide custom HTML creative formatted according to official specs.
  • To manage list fatigue, eBlasts are only sent outside of heavy show promotional periods, generally May – October.

Social Media Package

Get exposed to our Facebook community and our Twitter community! The package includes 2 Facebook posts and 1 Twitter original post or retweet. Try something new -- Twitter Polls. You provide the question and we tweet your question to our audience featuring your brand. It's a great way to engage and present brand awareness to a focused community. Please schedule posting with Laura Riggs via email. All content must be received 3 days prior to scheduled posting date.
