The 2019 NAB Show Space Selection process is underway!
Leading into the 2018 NAB Show, NAB starts the 2019 Space Selection process by assigning current Exhibitors with their own unique appointment based on their Priority Point ranking.

NEW FOR 2019! UNLIMITED Material Handling
NAB is including UNLIMITED Material Handling as an added feature of your space purchase. NAB and the Exhibitor Advisory Committee have been aggressively working to change "the tradeshow model", by first tackling one of the single biggest expenses exhibitors have at a show - Material Handling. Without this new model, in 2019, exhibitors collectively would pay 65% more for material handling services. NAB is pleased to announce a new, simple, NSF rate plan - UNLIMITED Material Handling for just $3.85 per sq. ft.
Under this new plan, you enjoy:
- UNLIMITED Material Handling -- Exhibit the way you need to. It's no longer cost prohibitive.
- Predictable & Simple to Budget Rates -- No surcharges. No surprise fees. Simple to calculate.
- An Easier Experience -- No more lugging materials yourself to avoid costs.

Priority Points are used to determine the order in which companies select booth space. This means that NAB assigns each exhibitor to a time slot, based on their ranking in Priority Points. 500 appointments are held Pre-Show, via phone appointments. The remaining appointments are held Onsite, via in person appointments in N261.

Each company’s assigned appointment date and time will be sent via email to the exhibit logistics contact.

What happens if a company buys an additional booth, increases/reduces, booth size, or buys new or additional advertising/sponsorship opportunities?
Each company will receive full credit for any changes/additions that positively or negatively impact the point total. We update each company’s priority point total daily to reflect any possible changes to a company’s point total.
What if an exhibiting company purchases another exhibiting company that has accrued points over the years?
For each year that both companies exhibited and accrued points, the company with the highest point total for that year will be added to the newly combined company’s point total. For each year that only one of the two companies exhibited and accrued points, that company’s point total for that year will be added to the newly combined company’s point total.
Example for ABC, Inc. purchasing XYZ, Inc.:
- ABC, Inc. exhibited in 2016, accruing 22 points and 2017, accruing 20 points = 42 points.
- XYZ, Inc. exhibited in 2015, accruing 30 points, 2016 accruing 22 points and 2017, accruing 11 points = 63 points.
- The newly combined ABC Inc.’s new Priority Point total for this period is calculated by adding the highest point total either company received for each year; 30 points + 22 points + 20 points = 72 points
Can my company lose its Exhibitor Priority Points?
Two (2) consecutive absences from the annual NAB Show will result in loss of all accrued Priority Points.
Pre-Show Space Selection will take place via phone appointments for companies holding rankings 1 - 500 in Priority Points. Your assigned appointment date and time has been sent via email to your company’s exhibit logistics contact.
NAB Show Staff
Each exhibitor at NAB Show has their own dedicated sales representative on the Exhibit Sales Team to assist with your space needs. Once you begin building out your exhibit space, you’ll have the Exhibit Services Team at your disposal to assist with any show planning and logistical questions.
Exhibitor Advisory Committee
In addition to NAB Show staff, you can also tap into the knowledge and expertise of our Exhibitor Advisory Committee. This group of fellow exhibitors will help maximize your experience at the Show – feel free to ask them questions on best practices and more.
