Important Security Procedure Update

Your Safety is Our #1 Priority
The NAB Show team is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all NAB Show participants. In light of recent incidents, both domestic and global, we are heightening our security procedures for the 2017 NAB Show. While there are no known threats to the 2017 NAB Show, we believe these enhanced measures are important and necessary to ensuring that all NAB Show participants can conduct business in a safe and secure environment.
Above and beyond our standard security procedures – which include multiple interior badge check points, random bag searches, and exterior perimeter security posts - we are increasing security and law enforcement personnel around the exterior perimeter of the Convention Center. Participants should expect to see an increased uniformed tactical Police Officer and K9 Detection Team presence, as well as, an increase in the number of random bag searches. With respect to bags, we strongly recommend that all attendees refrain from bringing any type of bag onto show premises. All bags will be subject to search at any time and at any location.
Supported by our very experienced security team, we remain in close consultation with the Las Vegas Metro Police, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Las Vegas Convention Center. We will continue to evaluate and update our security plan as necessary.
Our priority is safety, however, we will do all we can to limit any inconvenience that may be imposed as a result of these new procedures. We thank you in advance for your patience, understanding and cooperation.
