The NAB Education Foundation in partnership with the Broadcast Education Association will host its spring Career Day featuring panel discussions, one-on-one career coaching, resume workshops, and hiring opportunities for various careers within the broadcasting industry. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with major industry recruiters including CBS News, Hearst Television and ION Media. Admission is free for job seekers, but registration is required. Recruiters will have the chance to fill open positions and receive Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) credit for their participation.

The event will kick off with an 8:30 a.m. Networking Coffee co-hosted by SAM and BlackMagic Design at the M.E.T. 360˚ Studio powered by NeuLion in the Central Lobby. From 9 - 10 a.m., #GALSNGEAR will host lively discussions and gear demos with female industry leaders on NAB Show LIVE! — women from across the spectrum of technical jobs in production and post. The show will be available via live stream, produced by Broadcast Beat Magazine and co-hosted by Adryenn Ashley, CEO of Crowded TV and Amy DeLouise, Independent Director/Producer.
Last year’s networking event drew hundreds, the livestreamed show was seen by thousands, and the #GALSNGEAR hashtag did more than 2 million impressions over 9 days, with a reach of more than 295,000 accounts.
