Visa Information
Many international visitors attending NAB Show® require a visa to enter the United States. Below are some suggested steps to follow when applying for a visa that are intended to maximize the chances of approval for an application. While submitting an official Letter of Invitation from NAB Show with your application is important step in this process, the letter itself will not guarantee your application's approval. The letter is merely supplementary information that explains an applicant's intended travel purpose in the United States. U.S. Embassy officers look at the totality of an applicant's personal and professional situation in determining visa eligibility.
Visa Application
Take the following steps to give you the best possible chance of securing a U.S. visa.
- Register for NAB Show.
- Once you have completed your registration, your personalized Letter of Invitation will be available for printing in the following three places:
- On the final confirmation step of the registration process.
- From the confirmation email that is sent to the email address provided when registering.
- By editing your existing registration. To log in, you will need your Badge ID number (provided in your registration confirmation) and your Last Name.
- Print the letter in color and submit it along with your visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate.
- Start the process approximately 90 days prior to your departure to the U.S.
- We recommend that you do not purchase your airline ticket until your visa application has been approved.
New - Online Visa Applications now Available
If you require a visa to enter the United States, please complete the U.S. State Department Online Non-immigration Visa Application. This online application is utilized by all U.S. embassies. Once you complete the online application, a confirmation will be emailed outlining further instructions for an appointment. U.S. immigration services recommend that you visit the U.S. embassy/consulate in your locale to find out what other supporting documents you will need to take to your appointment.
After April 1, 2012, NAB Show will not be able to process any new requests for a Letter of Invitation. Complete a registration in full for each person requiring a Letter of Invitation. Only requests submitted via the online registration form will be processed.
Consider joining an official Delegation to make your experience travelling to NAB Show more enjoyable, easier and cost efficient. It may also improve your chances of receiving visa approval. more
