| text size

There are many columns located throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is vital that you reivew the Floor Plan to determine if there is a column in or around your booth. View the full list of column diagrams here.

Due to the services incorporated into these columns exhibitors must follow certain guidelines to ensure LVCC personnel can access the resources necessary to serve you and your surrounding Exhibitors, including safety regulations for fire safety.

Column Guidelines

Note: These guidelines only apply to columns physically located in your contracted space.
Please follow these guidelines as you design your booth:

  • The column can be decorated with drape.
  • Shelving or structures can be placed in front of the column, or hanging signs positioned to help hide it, provided the access guidelines below are followed.
  • Access to any emergency equipment or access panels on the columns.
  • Emergency exit signage on the column must be kept clear.

If you want to use a hanging sign to decorate your column please follow these guidelines:

  • The sign must be hung from the ceiling and within the height regulation for your booth type.
  • You may not place signs directly on the column.

  • If your Exhibit requires a large amount of power, 100 amps of 208 or more, you could possibly save money if you leave Freeman 60" on the south side of the column to place a transformer next to the column.
  • For reference, the south side is the loading docks.
  • 24" clearance is required for east and west sides of columns.
  • Anything that is marked fire cabinet, hose cabinet, fire alarm strobe light or similar needs unrestricted access at all times.
  • If you have any questions or concerns regarding your booth structure or set-up around these columns please contact Exhibit Services at (877) 622-3947, (202) 595-2051 or via email.

If you want to use a hanging sign to decorate your column please follow these guidelines:

  • The sign must be hung from the ceiling and within the height regulation for your booth type. Refer to the rules and regulations page for further details.
