Registration Requirements
Important Information
All media must pre-register for the 2012 NAB Show®. Please note that the deadline to register as press for the 2012 NAB Show is April 6th.
To receive your News Media badge in the mail, applicants within the U.S. must submit their registration form by March 23rd. Anyone submitting a registration form after this date will receive their News Media badge on site at the Las Vegas Convention Center. All international applicants will receive their badge on site. Once on site, pre-registered News Media must present a valid photo ID to pick up their press badge.
News Media registrants must be working or on assignment for a regularly distributed news publication, program or related online news site and must submit verification of editorial press occupation. If you do not meet these qualifications, click here to register as a general attendee. NAB reserves the right to exclude any person or organization from its events.
In order for your online registration form to be processed, you must submit a URL linking to a recent by-lined article or editorial staff listing. If you do not have this information, please contact Suzie Raven at (202) 429-5481.

Freelancers & Video Production Companies
Freelancers and video production companies must be on assignment for a legitimate news organization and submit letters of assignment from that news organization on company letterhead. Accreditation for freelancers and video production companies will expire at the conclusion of each show.
Ineligible
Press IDs from membership organizations that charge a fee for the ID are not sufficient for verification. Accreditation will NOT be granted to:
- Account representatives, sales executives, engineers, marketing managers, general managers, public relations reps, etc.
- Anyone whose principal purpose for attending NAB Show is, in our judgment, for reasons other than covering them as working News Media.
Media accreditation is reserved for working members of the media only. This includes editors, reporters, producers, camera crews and still photographers.
We reserve the right to modify this policy without public notice and to revoke previously issued NAB Show accreditation/registration at any time.
A history of being registered at a previous NAB Show does not guarantee approval or waive the accreditation requirement. Misconduct or misrepresentation of position and/or publication/news organization will bar you and your organization from all future NAB events.
Note: The foregoing are guidelines for NAB Show's use only.
Completion of the News Media Accreditation Form implies consent to NAB Show's collection and storage of the data on the form in the United States.
