NAB has a formal Delegation program designed to assist Delegation Leaders and electronic media professionals traveling from outside the U.S. make their arrangements to participate and attend the NAB Show™.
U.S. Embassies/Consulates, industry trade associations, official tour operators and private companies from around the world organize country Delegations. The deadline to register as a 2009 NAB Show Delegation Leader is February 14, 2009.
Why Join a Delegation?Joining an official Delegation will provide several benefits that will make your participation at the NAB Show more productive and enjoyable, including:
- Complimentary VIP Exhibits-Only registration for Delegation members
- Discounted registration rate for the Broadcast Conferences (Broadcast Engineering, Radio Management, Television Management, and Broadcast Legislative & Regulatory Conferences)
- Complimentary Broadcast Conference registration for the Delegation Leader
- Listing of the NAB Show exhibitors interested in exporting to your country
- Dedicated NAB staff to assist you in advance and on-site to coordinate the registration needs of your delegates
- Access to the International Trade Center located in the Grand lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center
- Invitation to the Global Matchmaking Reception on Sunday, April 20, 2009, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (1730-1930 hours)
- The ability to travel and meet other professionals from your country
- Help from Delegation Leaders in organizing your transportation, registration and hotel accommodations
Each Delegation will be assigned a unique 'Delegation code' to enter when registering members of your group. Registering with this unique Delegation Code enables the Delegation Leader to track who has registered, paid or signed up for conferences from your group.
Registering Your Delegation Members
Choose from two options for registration: the Delegation Leader can register each member of the Delegation, or each Delegate can register individually. If your Delegates wish to register individually, please make sure they know your unique ‘Delegation code' to access the complimentary online registration form.
Delegates can purchase the Broadcast Conference registration at the reduced partner rate. If your delegation includes a group of three or more people from the same organization, you may want to advise them that they can save even more money by joining NAB as an International member.

We have streamlined and improved the process for requesting a ‘Letter of Invitation’ to accompany each delegate’s U.S. Visa application. Please complete the online registration form. If you have a non-U.S. address, the system will ask if you would like a letter of invitation. An invitation letter will be processed immediately and emailed to you in an HTML file. Please print in color or black and white to supplement your visa application.
